Sustainable energy source

With the help of AESIEAP member companies, One Meralco Foundation (OMF) was able to energize eleven (11) more off-grid public schools through its school electrification program in 2019. Between 1 to 3 kilowatt-peak solar photovoltaic system was installed in each school.

The energized schools also received a multimedia equipment package consisting of a 45-inch LED TV, a laptop computer and a printer-scanner machine to allow teachers to be more efficient, and students to benefit from technology-aided learning.

Stories of transformation

In the past ten years, One Meralco Foundation's school electrification program has energized 265 off-grid schools in remote mountain and island communities in the Philippines.
